The Waltham COA, located at 488 Main Street, offers a medical van that provides curb to curb services for medical appointments within Waltham. Voluntary donations are accepted for this service. The COA also has taxi vouchers available for purchase that can be used for non-medical transportation. This is available to Waltham residents age 60 or older. Contact the COA for additional details.

BeDriven® offers shuttle van and car service, by reservation, to and from Boston area health facilities, including hospitals, doctor’s offices, health clinics, rehabilitation facilities, etc. for non-emergency medical appointments.
If you require prescriptions to be filled or equipment picked-up, special arrangements can be made at the time of booking or by contacting a reservation agent prior to pick up.

This MBTA service is for persons with disabilities and seniors who are unable to independently use public transportation. The program requires a face-to-face interview which can be scheduled over the phone. Free transportation to the interview will be provided by The RIDE. Once approved, rides are scheduled by calling 1-844-427-7433.
