The Northborough COA Senior Center, located at 119 Bearfoot Road, can help with transportation resources. There is a Northborough COA Van Service that provides in–Town Trips and out–of–Town Trips  to Marlborough, Westborough, Shrewsbury, Worcester, Boylston, Northborough, and Southborough, Monday–Friday as scheduled. Reservations are taken up to seven business days in advance. Minimum of 24 hours notice is required for all reservations. For reservations call 508–752–9283 press 1. Trips to and from the Senior Center are available daily. The Northborough Senior Center has received grant funding  to assist Northborough residents 60 years of age and older with transportation needs to medical appointment trips to
destinations east of Northborough. As funds are limited , the program is designed to assist those with limited financial and social resources. If you would like more information or would like to request this service, please call Jocelyn Ehrhardt at 508-393-5035. It is essential to call at least two weeks in advance of your appointment to discuss options.

BeDriven® offers shuttle van and car service, by reservation, to and from Boston area health facilities, including hospitals, doctor’s offices, health clinics, rehabilitation facilities, etc. for non-emergency medical appointments.

If you require prescriptions to be filled or equipment picked-up, special arrangements can be made at the time of booking or by contacting a reservation agent prior to pick up.

This MBTA service is for persons with disabilities and seniors who are unable to independently use public transportation. The program requires a face-to-face interview which can be scheduled over the phone. Free transportation to the interview will be provided by The RIDE. Once approved, rides are scheduled by calling 1-844-427-7433.

GoGo Grandparent allows a person of any age to use Uber or Lyft without having a smartphone. They can provide transportation to any destination provided the individual can get in and out of the vehicle with minimal assistance. Call GoGo Grandparent and follow the prompts to arrange your ride.
