Elder Community Care

Elder Community Care (ECC) is a mental health program run by a network of agencies working together to serve elders in their own homes.

Agency partners include Advocates, Inc., United Way of Tri-County, and Springwell, Inc.

ECC provides counseling and other support services specifically designed to meet the emotional needs of older adults in MetroWest.

Our team of trained social workers and mental health clinicians can help you and your loved ones through our comprehensive assessments, counseling, and referral services. We consult with you and your family to help you decide which services and resources can benefit you.

Elder Community Care can help:

  • If you want to talk to someone about your fears or your worries.
  • If you find yourself not doing things you used to enjoy.
  • If (as you age) you’re grieving over a spouse passing away or going to a nursing home.
  • If, at times, you may use too much alcohol, drugs, or medications.
  • If you feel lonely and isolated and do not know where to turn for help.

Services offered by Elder Community Care:

  • A personal assessment of your needs and referral for services specific to your needs
  • Counseling in the comfort of your home
  • Supportive and compassionate telephone calls when you need them
  • Someone to talk to when you are in distress, no matter what time it is
