Request for Proposal (RFP) for Federally Funded Grants for Older Adult Services
Springwell, an Area Agency on Aging, is currently seeking proposals for Older Americans Act funded programs, including legal assistance, outreach for older adults with the greatest social and economic need, including LGBTQIA+ older adults, learning and development to provide educational programs for the utilization of digital technology, evidence-based programs, access programs to address food insecurity, and regional and local transportation to medical appointments, caregiver programs, and home-based mental health services. Funding is strictly intended to provide services to individuals aged 60 years and older living in the towns of Ashland, Belmont, Brookline, Dover, Framingham, Holliston, Hopkinton, Hudson, Marlborough, Natick, Needham, Newton, Northborough, Sherborn, Southborough, Sudbury, Waltham, Watertown, Wayland, Wellesley, Westborough, and Weston. All proposals will be reviewed. Funding will be awarded for a one-year period starting October 1, 2023 and ending September 30, 2024. Grant awards are renewable for one additional year based on available federal funds and program performance.

Completed Letters of Intent must be received at Springwell no later than June 22, 2023 by 5pm (electronic copy only). Full proposals must be received by June 29, 2023 by 5pm (electronic copy only) in order to be considered for funding. Springwell reserves the right to reject any and all proposals if, in its judgment, the best interests of older adults residing in its planning and service area would not be served.
