50 Years of Service
In the coming year, Springwell will celebrate 50 years of providing vital services to older adults in the greater Boston and MetroWest community. Founded as West Suburban Elder Services, Springwell has been dedicated to improving the quality of life for older adults since we began as an organization offering the MA Home Care Program in eight greater Boston communities. Over the past five decades, Springwell has grown from a small organization to a multifaceted agency that provides a wide range of services and programs to thousands of older adults in twenty-two communities each year.
Springwell has been an integral part of the support system for older adults, providing a range of services including Meals on Wheels, home care, case management, information & referral, protective services, and support for caregivers, to name a few. With the dedication of its staff, volunteers, and community partners, Springwell has been able to make a difference in the lives of countless older adults over the years.
We look forward to sharing with you our plans for celebration in the coming months – our supportive and generous community has been integral to our success so far and will be an important part of our planning for the next chapter in our story of service.
