Lend your support during annual March for Meals

graphic stating More than Just a Meal. includes a nutritious meal, friendly visit and safety check

Across the United States, 1 in 4 older adults lives alone and feels lonely. Meals on Wheels is a vital program that delivers more than a daily, hot meal.

Our trained staff and volunteer drivers provide a meal, a friendly visit, and a daily safety check for adults aged 60 and older. These drivers are a true lifeline for those who live alone. In Fiscal Year 2023, Springwell will provide more than 500,000 meals to 3,600 individuals in 22 greater Boston and MetroWest communities, thanks to more than 300 staff and volunteer drivers.

March is Nutrition Month, commemorating the 51st anniversary of a national nutrition program for people 60 years and older. During this month, the Meals on Wheels network rallies communities around its vital service.
